It’s the season to be jolly… jolly broke! As a student, Christmas is proving to be an expensive prospect and with limited funds I am afraid that my family will, yet again, find socks and hand knitted items under the tree.

However, Christmas does not have to be this traditionally boring for everybody. It can be hard to find interesting and different gifts but after my trip into town today I thought I would share some of the unique and affordable present ideas that caught my eye.

For the one who loves to bathe….

fullsizerender£10 – Debenhams

These 4 adorably packaged and sweetly scented bath bombs are perfect for those who like to spend a bit to long relaxing in the bath.

For the one who isn’t quite Mary Berry (yet!)…

£25 – Debenhams

This nifty little contraption seems to be the best invention of the 21st century, creating cupcakes in 10 minutes! Who wouldn’t want endless cakes for Christmas?

For the one who wants to be a beauty vlogger…

£30 – Boots

Recommended by many bloggers, the benefits are endless! This kit has everything any girl could need and it comes in a swanky box too.

For the mum of the group…

£3- Tiger

Don’t lie, there is a mum in every group of friends and you know exactly who it is! A tiny little sewing tin will definitely prove useful when you loose a button on a night out.

For the one who wants to find themselves…

£12 – House of Fraser

With this scrapbook they can show you exactly what it was they found on their travels!

For the one who does arts and crafts…

knit your own hat £18 and knit your own pin cushion £10 – Fatface

Maybe you’ll get a return on your investment with these little knitting kits, no guesses what you’ll get for your birthday…a hand made hat anybody?
